Hello, my name is Kieran Burton. I am a musician, synthesist, audio engineer and student currently based out of San Diego, California. I am currently studying at UCSD completing my BA in the Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts Program with a focus in Music. I want to push sonic boundaries and create something new.

Music has always been a big part of my life, growing up I received piano lessons from my grandma, but drifted away from traditional instruments, and took an interest in electronic music. After finishing high school, some friends and I started throwing bimonthly electronic music events, and I would DJ at these events. These experiences led to my discovery and love for synthesis and music production.

 

Music production and sound design has come more easily to me and gives me the inspiration and confidence to pick up and learn other instruments. Recently my time has been spent learning about and experimenting in the world of Eurorack synthesizers, I plan to feature these sonic explorations here for those that are of interest.
